If I'm being honest you have to be pretty lonely to genuinely fall for someone over the Internet.
From someone that has tried, it is pretty shallow and you're mostly likely going to fall for the ideal of them because you don't know that much about them.
And it's really easy for someone to just lie about things.
Irl contact and intimacy is such a different and a better feeling than falling asleep in calls and basing your attraction off vibes.
That being said I have "liked" women over the Internet, and have even "confessed" before. But my "confessions" have always been me saying that I'm interested in getting to know them. Not really infatuated with them.
I wouldn't consider seriously dating someone over the Internet unless it's feasible to meet them irl multiple times a year.
Not deleted , but blocked cause when he passed I thought I’d have a few months before they gave his number away but apparently not and she was so rude about it .
A man could be a total loser but simply him having a wife and kids will raise his social status completely and make him appear to be more of a man than he actually is
Went on a date with a 27-year-old last week. Halfway through dinner, she asked me: “Are you seeing anyone else?”
I said no. Then I asked why.
She said, “Because I like you. I don’t want to waste my time.”
I laughed. Thought she was joking.
She wasn’t.
She said she wasn’t asking me to be her boyfriend. She just wanted to know if we were serious about getting to know each other.
When I dropped her off, she smiled and said, “I hope you ask me out again.” The next morning, she texted first.
I just stared at my phone.
Because we’re so used to playing games that honesty feels suspicious.
one of the things you learn when dating as an adult woman is you will meet a man who genuinely just wants to show you a good time but he does not want a relationship. this is what they call a, “gentleman”, and it is very important you can distinguish the difference.
I often find myself withdrawing from my friends and feeling like I have nothing to offer them but then I actually hang out with them and have a blast and I'm like oh yeah forgot I have the Everyone Hates Me and Wants Me To Die ™️ disorder
