It does not matter whether that one-party rule is Democratic or Republican.

If there is no real competition in elections, then there is no way for voters—Ds, Rs, independents or 3rd party—to hold their representatives accountable at the ballot box.

Almost half of the states in the nation (24) prohibit independents from voting in primary elections unless they’re registered as a Republican or Democrat. I’m surprised at how many people expect @Fwd_Party to run national candidates immediately.

For decades, Libertarians and Greens have tried running national campaigns to “get the message out.” It never worked. We have to acknowledge that if we’re going to succeed.

@Fwd_Party Not gonna lie. Biden has his moments. I’d like to see some younger candidates next time around, but most of Biden’s policies are solid.

Happy to see both sides commit to not getting rid of social security and Medicare.
