“SI” is unlikely to have the same reach as “AI”
AI has become an overused term for companies wanting to signal they are on the cutting edge when in reality they are only tangentially related to AI or using AI tools like everyone else. The AI buzzword will eventually be redundant and fade away. Still, the term has become ubiquitous and means many different things to different people.
SI implies the frontier of intelligence itself. I view that as a much more niche industry.
The introduction of SI will expose how loosely “AI” has been used and will make people more discerning with respect to labels and descriptors in company branding.
There is always a .com you can get for $5k that's better the tryblurgh.ai you're currently using. The reason you don't see it is (a) lack of imagination and (b) because you're attached to Blurgh, which you shouldn't be, because it's not that great anyway.
Seems like to become a pro at this you have to go through a period like that. Not many shortcuts and I’m sure it weeds out a lot of smart people.
Mentors are essential to help you learn, stay disciplined, and not waste as much capital during that period.
Markets trade money for experience.
Agree with your conclusions and I would have had no problem waiting many more years for the chance at a decent multiple.
I had 1,500 shares and voted to sell based on an email I received from Rally explaining that they are going through some structural changes. I’m sure it’s all good but my uncertainty level went up and it was not worth the due diligence to keep it.
@andrewrosener@OnRallyRd Invested in this, I’ll take an 18% annualized return any day of the week. Especially one with a different return profile from equities.
