Let us never believe the lie that our freedom requires someone else’s chains.
Shake off whatever binds you and shake off anything within you that tries to bind others.
Stop assuming people are mad at you. Stop attempting to read people's minds. Stop trying to manage everyone's emotions. Let people be in charge of themselves. If they have something to say to you, they will. You're only responsible for managing your own anxiety. Control thyself.
“Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape.”
― Bell Hooks
The Mental Health Act is out of date.
We’re calling for a reformed Mental Health Act that supports people. And we need to see that within the first 100 days of a new government.
We’ve waited far too long. The time to act is now.
Give thanks for those who remind you of your vision, purpose, and worthiness when you’re walking through the valley of the shadow of death.
May our sunrise soon come.
May we endure and witness daybreak.. together.
