My daughter was 10yrs old when she was diagnosed with shingles. It started next to her belly button and went around to the middle of her back. She couldn’t wear clothes, use covers, use the ceiling fan (because the air moving over her would have her crying out in her sleep)… From ages 6-9, she had many health problems and the stress from that is what caused the shingles. It was the most helpless feeling to watch her go through that pain.
