Compassion which seeks to eliminate all suffering always leads to destruction
We were made to suffer. We were made to grow from suffering.
Our efforts to alleviate all human suffering, have led to a kind of group psychosis defined by fear and irrationality.
Compassion should lead us to walk with people in suffering and love them there, seeking to lead them to truth and healing.
In short, compassion can, and should sometimes lead us to challenge the individual to change, not reshape the world around them.
