@AneleMadondo2@HelenZille4Jozi Suggest you go and look at any of the DA municipalities in Western Cape or Umgeni. You won’t see incompetence which undermines all ANC municipalities. Do yourself a favour and get rid of your obvious bias.
A well-known former journalist informed AfriForum that two prominent South African journalists are currently being paid by the State Security Agency and the Department of International Relations to try to discredit @afriforum and the Solidarity Movement.
AfriForum has consequently, in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), formally submitted requests to both government institutions to obtain information on which journalists, academics, and commentators are being paid by them to influence public opinion in line with the state’s directives.
BREAKING: At the opening night of the Christmas market in Brussels, masked Islamists set off smoke bombs, attacked families, and waved Palestinian flags.
How do countries tolerate this?
@madaboutmarkets This could actually be very good. Hopefully the funds will be disbursed over the six year period when DA-lead coalitions govern all the major metros. I just hope the debt is Rand denominated.
Pretoria High School for Girls is a school with a 99.9% Matric pass rate, a clean audit and - thanks to Mr Erasmus - a beautiful rose garden.
Yet, Panyaza Lesufi’s government wants to tear this all down.
You can help stop this: crowd funding details in tweet below.
His response comes from the heart. He is one of the most matured and measured politicians currently in South Africa.
Under the leadership of @VFPlus ALL South Africans will benefit - and all will prosper.
I know where my next vote will go.
I think it’s time for a crowdfunding campaign - in support of Mrs Erasmus - and to fund litigation against officials at the Gauteng Department of Education.
Retweet if you agree.
@visse_ss@Leon_Schreib Everybody deserves good service, regardless of whether they are minority or majority. Service to this minority was abysmal and the minister is rectifying that. He is helping all citizens. Suggest you get that horrible chip off your shoulder.
@LT_Investor_SA Despite general supetficial criticism, they are having a more positive effect in the GNU and the hint of a motion of no confidence will cause Ramarubbish to tread more warily.
@Josh_Miller01@MayorPappas Well, Ramaphosa is not doing a great job. He would probably be voted out and that would throw the ANC into further chaos. The threat is however enough to cause a change in behaviour.
@madaboutmarkets@Brettbenraphael There have also been amendments to the other bills and the DA are drafting the regulations for Bela which makes them less draconian. I agree, still much to do but don’t be influenced by superficial criticisms.
@madaboutmarkets@Brettbenraphael Those legislative items were all passed by the previous parliament, and the DA have been able to dilute/amend the provisions of each of those bills. The job is not completely done but they have done some good work. Eg., the provision for a central body to administer NHI has gone.
