Good morning. It was a wet night again in our neck of the woods. Two systems came through: the first with substantial rain and the second filling in the missed areas.
Note to Mother Nature: we are full, thanks. Now just go away for a couple of weeks. Nope—she’s going for round three this afternoon.
How bad is the condo bailout in Ontario and Vancouver by the Canadian Liberal government?
It’s generally a bad policy—moral hazard, inefficiency, and misallocated taxpayer resources—with some short-term upsides for housing supply and stability, but long-term downsides that often outweigh them. This fits classic government intervention in asset markets: propping up prices or rescuing specific players instead of allowing supply and demand to clear.
I loved yesterday’s conversation with liberals on polls. If you sign up, you get contacted and Carney is winning. Ah, if it’s only liberals signing up, of course he is winning. A stray cat would be.
Second, on the bought floor-crossers: every single one would be booted to the curb if they had to face their voters. It’s a bought government, not a majority.
Have a great day.
If I said it before, I’ll say it again: if the canola shit show of the last few years was happening in Ontario or Quebec, the feds would have done something for those areas, but because it’s in the west we get fuck all for the problem they caused. And liberals wonder why Western Canada is done with this shit show.
I am a Free Canadian.
For now.
I grew up believing freedom was the default setting. Canadians didn't need permission to speak their minds. Privacy wasn't something you applied for. Citizens questioned government, not the other way around.
Maybe that sounds old-fashioned now.
I don't care.
I am a Skeptical Canadian.
When politicians tell me a new power is only for my protection, I read the fine print. When they tell me it's for the children, I ask who will inherit the precedent. When they tell me only bad people should worry, I remember that every right we possess was created to protect ordinary people from powerful ones.
My ancestors didn't cross oceans so their descendants could ask permission to speak freely online. Nobody stormed beaches, froze in trenches, or built this country from muskeg and rock so future Canadians could be told which opinions are safe enough to share.
I am a Vigilant Canadian.
I come from the kind of country where neighbours pull strangers out of snowbanks, where farmers stop their tractors to help a motorist change a tire, and where people apologize when someone else bumps into them. Yet somehow we're expected to believe Canadians cannot be trusted with freedom unless somebody in Ottawa supervises it.
I don't want government deciding what ideas deserve promotion. I don't want bureaucrats deciding what opinions require supervision. I don't want privacy traded away one "reasonable" compromise at a time. And I sure as hell don't want my children growing up believing freedom is whatever remains after regulators finish editing it.
I am a Stubborn Canadian.
My country was built by people who crossed oceans, survived winters, broke land, built railways, fought wars, and buried friends. Not so future generations could quietly surrender their liberties because questioning authority became unfashionable or that blind allegiance is normal.
I am an Informed Canadian.
Which means I understand the oldest trick in politics.
Nobody arrives at the front door and announces they are here to take your freedom. They arrive carrying safety, protection, security, and good intentions. Freedom departs, hidden inside the packaging.
No freedom disappears all at once. It vanishes piece by piece. One exception. One permission. One restriction. One "temporary" measure that somehow never leaves.
Until one day people wake up and realize they still have all the responsibilities of free citizens and fewer of the rights.
I am a Free Canadian.
Not because government allows it. Not because a regulator approves it. Not because a bureaucrat signs a form.
I am free because generations before me insisted on it.
And if that little phrase ever disappears from our vocabulary, it will not be because Canadians failed to notice.
It will be because Canadians forgot who they were.
I haven't forgotten. And I have no intention of starting now.
Because the rights I inherited are not mine to surrender.
They are mine to protect.
And someday I intend to hand them, intact, to the Canadians who come after me.
I haven't forgotten.
And neither should you.
Melanie
Canada
Your prime minister was installed. It's true.
He then won the election after having little chance.
Then he made deals to steal a majority.
His biggest accomplishment is enriching his own portfolio.
You are the only nation in the g20 having a recession.
They've shut down debate and are just ramming through bills to become law and entrap you in a digital prison.
And the majority defend it, love it, thank it.
Canada is being fleeced, we're being robbed, and most aren't mad at the people doing it, they're mad at the people seeing it.
… SHAME ON YOU LIBERAL MPS. SHAME ON YOU!!!
… You are the only ones enabling Mark Carney, a rogue, unaccountable dictator who is deliberately destroying our economy and country.
… This week you have enabled his establishment of a surveillance state over all our lives, violating all our rights and freedoms. And now, for no clear reason, and without debate or consideration by the Canadian people, you have enabled him to return the use of banned pesticides. Pesticides which have been proven to damage our health.
… You have enabled him further sabotaging our trade relationship with our most important partner and closest neighbour. And he throws away billions of our dollars a week, most of it disappearing into the pockets of international criminals like his Brookfield associates.
… Do you not see that all this is his deliberate agenda?? Why do you continue to cheer him on, grovelling on your knees to please him? Do you not see the obvious, that you are complicit in the destruction of your own lives and the people that you are supposed to represent? Every one of you is 100% responsible for this.
… SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!
Good morning. So more gov't involvement in food. Why can’t they just see it’s the carbon tax driving up Canadians’ costs and get the fuck out of the way?
No more bullshit.
The announcement is classic government: big spending on infrastructure, financing vehicles (loans via FCC), and process improvements, with optimistic projections on affordability and resilience. It may help some processors and create longer-term capacity, but it doesn’t touch the carbon tax or deliver immediate, broad-based relief on the biggest variable costs farmers face right now.
As a farmer, I’m frustrated. This is shared by many in the sector who want simpler fixes: lower taxes on fuel, fertilizer, and energy; less red tape; and policies that let producers focus on growing rather than navigating new funds and programs. The proof will be whether these investments actually expand domestic processing and supply enough to matter at the grocery store—or if it ends up as another expensive layer on an already complex system.
I’m betting it will cost us all way more.
Liberals create the mess, then try to fix it with more mess and blame everyone except themselves.
We’re fucked as a nation. He’s off to Europe again to evade Parliament.
THE CULT OF THE RED LAWN SIGN
🤔If ethics matter, why do they stop mattering the moment a Liberal gets caught?
I've spent the last little while reading through the public findings of Canada's Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner since 2016.
I know. Riveting stuff. The kind of thing normal people do when they're not busy enjoying hobbies or maintaining healthy social lives.
What I found was a trail of ethics violations, conflict-of-interest findings, disclosure breaches, recusal failures, and contraventions involving Liberal MPs, cabinet ministers, and even the Prime Minister himself since Justin Trudeau first took office.
Not allegations.
Not rumours.
Not conspiracy theories scribbled on the back of a Tim Hortons napkin.
Official findings.
Public record.
And yet every election, like clockwork, millions of Canadians solemnly inform us that Conservatives are the unethical ones.
At this point, I'm less interested in the politicians than I am in the voters. Because eventually you have to stop blaming the dog for getting on the couch when the owner keeps lifting him up there.
If ethics matter, why do ethics findings never seem to matter?
If integrity matters, why does integrity suddenly become a complicated philosophical debate every time the person in question has a red lawn sign?
If character matters, why is character always somebody else's problem?
The pattern is almost comforting now!
A Conservative gets accused of something and we're told it reveals their true nature.
A Liberal gets caught doing something and we're immediately handed a twelve-part documentary explaining why context is important, nobody's perfect, everybody makes mistakes, and have we considered Stephen Harper?
It's like watching a smoke detector argue that the fire is actually a nuanced heating event and how dare you call it anything else. If you do, then you hate Canada. 🤦🏼♀️
The truly remarkable part isn't that politicians keep getting caught. Politicians are politicians. Nobody should be falling off their chair in shock.
The remarkable part is watching people continue to vote for individuals with documented ethics findings while insisting they occupy the moral high ground.
That takes real commitment.
The kind of commitment usually reserved for flat-earthers and people who still think the self-checkout is making their lives easier.
So here's my question...
⁉️ Do Liberal voters not know?
⁉️ Do they know and not care?
⁉️ Or have we reached the point where ethics are no longer principles at all, but merely sticks used to hit political opponents?
Because from where I'm sitting at a kitchen table in rural Saskatchewan, trying to make sense of a country that increasingly feels upside down, it looks an awful lot like partisan loyalty has replaced standards.
And once that happens, ethics stop being ethics.
They become team colours.🤨

So we all work for them? Or do they work for us?
Share this post if your sick and tired of the government being a bully! Spending all our money! Holding us all back from a better life! We Need change NOW!!
🚨 TIME’S UP, CARNEY!
You promised Canada an ENERGY SUPERPOWER — pipelines, LNG terminals, mines built bigger and faster than EVER.
You ran on being the “energy superpower” guy?!?!??
ONE FULL YEAR LATER?
❌ No Signed Contracts Signed
❌ ZERO shovels in the ground
❌Just bullshit MOUs
❌Empty announcements
and you jetting off to Armenia.
Yet all we get is MOUs, half-baked announcements, and you jetting off to Armenia while nothing actually gets built.
Stay the F-home, grind it out, and DELIVER — or get the hell out!
Canadians are DONE with your globalist delays!

🎥 @ronmortgageguy Carney — he just torched you!
Now that the Liberals have secured a majority government, and there are no elections in sight, using Chantal Hébert’s expression, so tonight you would like us to believe that all of a sudden four Liberal-funded panelists woke up with a personal initiative to call out Carney and his Liberals… I find that hard to believe.
Journalists like these four are the reason why Canada is in such a hellhole.
These four are the reason the CBC is no longer relevant, has lost all credibility, and is now considered a mere Liberal tool.
Canadians.
Your ancestors either came to this country to build a better life, or you are native to Canada. Either way, your family contributed to building this nation.
For multiple generations, you and you your families built the railroads, the cities, the highways, the subway systems.
For multiple generations, you and your families built the hospitals, the schools, the universities.
For multiple generations, you and your families fought in the armies, defending and protecting Canada, defending and protecting the freedoms and democracies that Canadians have always enjoyed.
For multiple generations, you and your families paid your taxes, contributing to the financial wellbeing of the country, and supporting its growth.
For multiple generations, you and your families worked hard. You've contributed. You've embraced Canadian values. You've followed the laws, or faced the consequences if you didn't.
For multiple generations , you've sang "Oh Canada" with pride at school, at sporting events, and other gatherings.
For multiple generations, you've celebrated Canada Day each year with pride, at being a citizen of one of the greatest countries on earth.
Now we have a government that's allowing all of that to change.
They're allowing a terrorist regime to invade our country. To take away our democracies and freedoms. They've already allowed them to disrupt our lives. To block our streets as we try to get to work or to school, to block emergency vehicles from savings lives.
They've allowed them to block transit, to disrupt commercial businesses.
They've allowed them to march through residential neighborhoods, attempting to invoke fear in people.
They've allowed them to put up encampments on our colleges and universities, blocking students and faculty and staff from accessing the campus.
They've allowed them to radicalize others, to build and train soldiers, armies, on Canadian soil, with the aim of conquering Canada.
They continue to allow them to flood to this country, they pay their room and board when they arrive, letting them stay for free, off of tax-payer dollars, when they have come here to destroy the lives of those tax-payers.
The current government of Canada, once one of the greatest countries on this planet, a country that our mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers helped to build, is actively allowing that great country to be completely taken over, by a death-cult that will remove the democracies, rights and freedoms that we and our ancestors fought so bravely for.
And what's worse?
We're allowing them to do it.
We're voting for the politicians that are enabling and allowing our country to fall.
We're silently accepting their actions when they continue to ignore the threat to our nation, and allow the parasites that have arrived to slowly takeover the host.
We have been complicit.
Canadians, if we have a hope of saving our country, we have to let our elected officials know how we feel. We have to tell them - in no uncertain terms - that we're not going to sit back and allow this to continue. We have to vote each politician who's allowing this to happen, out of office. We have to elect people who are going to take back Canada. Who are going to stop the influx of radicalized immigrants, who are going to stop the radicalization within this country, who are going to deport those who are not here legally.
Each day, the pendulum is swinging further and further - if we don't stop the momentum, and start bringing it back the other way, the rope will snap, and it will be too late.
Our ancestors fought for this country.
We all have to be willing to do the same.
Or else the Canada our ancestors fought for and built, will be lost.
Perhaps forever.
The veil is being lifted from our eyes, and what we see is frightening. Many choose not to look at it. Others, like myself, cannot look away.
We no longer live in a country. We live in a crime scene.
I just don't believe in Canada anymore. I don't believe it's a country. It's more like a post national globalist district. A resource/labor colony for oligarchical interests.
I don't believe that we're citizens. We are more akin to debt ridden, indentured servants to the perverse corporation that our once prosperous country has become.
I don't believe in our politicians they all seem like political constructs, sloppily regurgitating scripted rhetoric.
I don't believe in our Westminster parliamentary system. It's all merely a performative charade to provide the peasentry with the illusion of participatory governance.
Though somehow, I do believe we will persevere. As dark as things look, they can change in a second. The awakening is occurring gradually, though we will reach a tipping point soon. Like raindrops falling into a vessel, eventually it fills. Inevitably, it overflows.
Be emboldened. Be defiant, and be steadfast in your resolve. God bless you all.
The best video I’ve seen all week.
Not one single thing was inaccurate.
Everyone needs to follow @liam_out_loud
He and Blendr have been putting out incredible content for YEARS
Canada has the highest food inflation in the G7.
Food banks are at breaking point.
But Carney spent $524,000 on AIRPLANE FOOD in ONE year.
The average Canadian family spends that on groceries in 30 YEARS.
This country is beyond parody. 😭
The Liberals may hold power, but let’s not forget they never secured a majority mandate from Canadians. Nobody voted for this "globalist" shift or the surrender of our sovereignty to unelected entities. If a "New World Order" agenda were actually on the ballot, Canadians would’ve rejected it in a heartbeat.
