We respectfully request clarification on what is causing this issue and ask for urgent action to restore a reliable and consistent water supply in our area. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.

Water is a basic necessity for hygiene, cooking, cleaning, and daily living. Going for nearly two weeks with little to no supply is not sustainable.

During this period, we only receive water for one day, and sometimes it is released at night when many residents are asleep and unable to collect enough for their families.
1/5. Dear @wasac_rwanda, I would like to raise a serious concern about the ongoing water shortage MASAKA. It has now been almost two weeks without a stable water supply.

Hello @Rwandapolice,
I am a proud Rwandan citizen residing in Masaka, Kicukiro. I would like to raise a concern regarding a situation that has occurred over the past two days.
@Muzungu4@Rwandapolice Thank you Richard. I don’t understand why searches are done two days in a row, but that’s not the my main concern. Officers should show ID/authorization to prove they are policemen and speak respectfully to citizens.

When we asked why these searches keep happening at night, the officer reacted angrily saying we would be searched daily because we live near Intare Conference Arena. This confused me as even during CHOGM, such searches were not conducted in this manner.
Thankyou @Rwandapolice

For our safety, officers conducting such operations, especially at very early hour, should present official identification or written authorization. At 4:00 AM, it is difficult to know who is at the door, which puts citizens at risk of criminals impersonating police.

My concern is identification and authorization. When we politely asked the officers to show their police ID cards, they refused. They also had no written authorization from the Rwanda National Police permitting the house search.

Yesterday at around 4:50 AM, police officers came to our home stating “tuje gusaka”. We cooperated fully and allowed them to search the house. However, today again at around 4:00 AM, other policemen returned, claiming once more that they were coming to search our house.
