I’d hoped things had changed, maybe naive to think derby day could happen without needless violence.

I remember the moment in 1999 when he stood alongside Peter Reid as we won the league.

Today I cried for my team but I also cried for my Grandad, who unfortunately suffers with Altzheimers. He probably doesnt remember 99 which breaks my heart. Let's take 6 from the mags!!

My mind is fogged, I havent fully accepted this. BUT hat I do know is that I stood inth middle of a pub and cried. Like absolutely sobbed, inconsolable sobbing.

He may not understand this moment, this is quite likely the last time my grandad (Bobby Saxton) will see us promoted.
