@FabrizioRomano Thomas Frank’s tactics in a must win game:
Kick long toward Solanke (hold up)
Or Odobert (channel)
Gallagher to press that side to try get 2nd balls.
Xavi wait in Left channel to see if they can bring him in.
Bissouma & Sarr run around a bit.
Everyone else; stay & hoof it.
@RudolphN17 Vinai was part of Assna banter era.
Lange almost took Villa down.
Both living well without them.
Both recruited by this board;
They should be out the door with Frank.
A spade a spade.
Ange was bad last season.
Spurs are worse this season.
Yes; squad not up to scratch & injuries.
But same was true last season.
*Frankly* unacceptable.
I don’t think I’ve ever watched a Spurs Vs Liverpool game where there should of been a player sent off that wasn’t and / or a player that was sent off that shouldn’t. Wild fixture.
@N_A_1_M_A_D … and it’s not common for players to take time to adapt to the PL?
My point is this; Spurs went into the season without the luxury of giving Xavi any time. It was sink or swim. For him & Spurs.
Despite knowing about the Kulu & Maddison injuries for months before window closed.
Say what you want about Frank;
And there is some to be said.
However starting season Kulu & Maddison-less - with only - a 22 yo with no PL experience for creativity..
++ Add Son’s void in LW
&& that somebody capped Solanke.
💩 squad. 💩 results.
&& yes; some 💩 management.
@N_A_1_M_A_D Spurs before this week couldn’t create chances. Frank tried 541 & 442 (x2) this week - made it worse defensively.
Spurs are desperate for some creativity & control in #10. A Maddison or Kulu or both when Kudus was recently out - massive difference imo. Xavi is raw & needs time.
The world feels a little bit dimmer now that he’s no longer in it. The only thing I could’ve asked for was that time was kinder. Rest in peace, my boy.
