Chris Morgan, a former oblate of Alton Abbey who kindly kept in touch with me, died in the early hours of this morning. He was born in 1966. After relinquishing his Anglican orders, he was consecrated a bishop of the Open Episcopal Church by Archbishop Jonathan Blake.
