My tribute to an icon. This Luger served as the perfect canvas for me to practice texturing the worn charm of metal patina.

The patented date mechanism in our DUW 6101 #caliber features an asymmetric program disc that moves the date on every fourth disc rotation. This #watchmaking part requires only a small amount of space and allows us to produce thinner movements. https://t.co/Totq5Ee9nR

Hey everyone, I wanted to address everything going on right now directly and so I am sharing a personal post on the company Twitter account. - Jacob Norris
It's seems unfortunately just non-stop right now regarding lay offs across the board at different companies... I'm so sorry again to see so many of my friends and fellow artists affected by all of these layoffs. For all of those affected, I truly wish you all the best during these turbulent times and that you will find another opportunity to get you back on your feet as soon as possible.
I wish we had the capacity to take on more people at Sierra Division and I would love to offer all of you a job and ask you to join us at what I hope remains a safe and stable environment for our team. Even if I may not be able to directly help you all now, please feel free to reach out to me directly on my @PurePolygons account if you were affected and I can keep my eyes open for any availability at other studios where my friends are.
For those studio friends actively hiring, please also feel free to add a message on this post here and share some links for those affected to apply at. All of you are also welcome to send us an application on our website at Sierra Division and although we may not have work right now, once we have your name in the system I can reach back out as soon as an opportunity arises. We'll try to do what we can...

Woke up to a certain ArtStation Post today. As much as I hate to say it, there are striking similarities between it and my project, down to the obscure handle I went with, specific wear/stains/scratches, and the background.
@Oxitoxic1 Based on his likes, I know he saw my project. What strikes me the most is how he chose to make the same extremely obscure handle among other things. And why would he block me if he is in the clear?
@justasquidd00 My only complaints revolve around texturing. The idea that we somehow ended up both making the same decisions using the same sets of references seems crazy.
@Oxitoxic1 I never claimed to have designed this Luger. I'm referring to the choices they made during texturing and how they align in several places with my version of it. There is more context in the replies.
@PeterrWizard There may have been some overlap in the refs we used, but a lot of details seem to match. I don't mind too much but blocking me and stuff does not help.
