@DrFrancisYoung @LMSChairman Do you attend many Catholic Masses? I thought you left all that behind when you joined the C of E. I have not encountered pottery Eucharistic vessels in the Catholic Church for ages, and then it was in school. Sadly they were ‘accidentally’ dropped twice down a set of stairs!

@MarkElliottSmi1 @cathconclave Richard Giles who redesigned St Thomas’, Huddersfield, my first parish as Anglican Vicar, was a great one for pushing this. I don’t know if the idea was originally his, but he certainly ran with it when he was liturgical advisor in the Anglican diocese of Wakefield.

We must continue to pray fervently for a solution. I fear that the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak!

@prsb58 @AngelaTilby @fathereddy @prsb Of course! But I was using terms in an ecumenical context! Referring to the teaching of the Church sometimes doesn’t wash ecumenically! It sometimes doesn’t wash when used in one’s own communion - let the reader understand!
