It's easy to get overwhelmed by fear and doubt. It's also easy to be bearish when prices are down.
Personally, I prefer to focus on what I'm bullish on more often than not. And I'm bullish on Solana. Thesis:
@defidevcorp
• Smartest SOL DAT goats.
• Knows how to grow SPS, and the team is just full of high-IQ bulls(@TheOtherParker_ ).
• They also move heavy; action shows with IRL events (see SOLID).
@jito_sol
• Jito and Solana are synonymous.
• Cracked minds accelerating infra space.
• Just look at their track record (BAM, MEV, restaking).
• Also one of the spearheads for onboarding institutions to SOL.
@fragmetric
• One of the highest staked APYs.
• Figurehead of restaking.
• Also will manage a SOL DAT.
• TVL dropped from ATH but not the end. Catalyst hits, it rises.
@MetaDAOProject
• I have always been a futard.
• Personally do think there's nothing more honest than the market.
• They got a solid understanding of what an ideal ICO is.
•Also, founder @metaproph3t got a cool mask. Bullish.
@switchboardxyz
• Have you seen the speed and precision of their oracles?
• @DoctorBlocks and devs cooking the backbone for dapps.
• Also, if the agent economy thrives, bet Switchboard had a hand.
@ExponentFinance / @RateX_Dex
• Only place to see both degen farmers and institutional players eating at the same table (albeit opposite sides).
• Yield trading is for sure lucrative if done right.
• Fixed yields bring predictability to a speculative market.
@MagicEden
• Best UX for NFTs, and team is non-stop shipping.
• Got gamification of NFTs with pack openings.
• 15% NFT buybacks show their commitment to support the ecosystem.
@hylo_so
• Sophisticated leverage engine.
• Appreciate how they brought liquidation-less leverage to SOL.
• Also high-APY yield-bearing stablecoin and good point-farming system in place.
• @retiredchaddev bullish. Check out his post on how the Hylo engine works.
@OREsupply
• Solana-native store of value, unique token model, and anyone can mine.
• Always fun to see gamification of existing systems.
• Got a hardhat from last bp(thx @HardhatChad).
• Be a minORE, stakORE, enjoyORE.
@jup_portfolio@jup_mobile
• I think my life got multitudes easier after their app and Portfolio came out.
• Easy to track my assets, DeFi positions, and swaps. UX is key and their app nailed it.
• Meow.
@encifherio
• One of the more interesting projects I've seen in a while.
• Privacy is a right, and they're expanding that right to Solana.
• Encrypted wrapped tokens for DeFi and trading. Hell yeah. Zolana.
This list can be endless, and the motive was not to mindlessly shill, but more so to look at the big picture, and share the obvious that may be missed:
@solana is looking good here.
Touch grass, get hydrated, and enjoy the rest of your day.
how to master defi
- get an understanding of how solana works (high throughput, low fees, account model vs ethereum's)
- set up a solana wallet (@phantom , @Backpack , @solflare , @jup_mobile. your choice), fund it with sol
- do basic swaps with aggregators like @Titan_Exchange /@JupiterExchange
- ask yourself how it works under the hood. try to answer
- learn defi basics from x, youtube, or discord.
- learn on-chain analysis with @Orb_Markets
- study AMMs (@Raydium CPMM, @orca_so CLMM, @MeteoraAG DLMM), liquidity provisioning, impermanent loss, concentrated liquidity mechanics
- study lending (@jup_lend, @kamino)
- start farming incentives on LPs or lending positions
- study tokenomics. at some point research futarchy(@MetaDAOProject)
- study smart contract / program risks.
- learn priority fees, compute unit limits, slippage on high-vol pools, oracle risks, jito bundles/MEV landscape
- understand wrapped assets and risks
- understand narratives, capital rotation, and solana meta (memecoins, defi summer, perps, restaking/liquid staking, whatever is next)
- learn how to do proper risk-reward assessment and get really good at DYOR
- start deploying real capital in defi. diversify across vaults, lending, perps, liquid staking (@jito_sol, @sanctumso)
- start reading blogs and x threads everyday. I personally like @Helius blogs
- ask smart people or LLMs hard questions on defi. use claude
learning the fundamentals is the best thing you can do in a bad market. but choose @solana
good luck
how to master defi
- get an understanding of how ethereum works
- do basic swaps on uniswap, lend on aave
- ask yourself how it works under the hood, try to answer
- learn defi basics from youtube and protocol docs
- study AMMs (uniswap v2/v3, balancer, curve), liquidity provisioning, impermanent loos, lending protocols, LTV
- find a protocol with a liquidity mining campaign (like @katana) and start farming incentives on LPs
- study tokenomics and emissions. at some point research ve 3,3 as well
- study smart contract risks, read rektnews
- learn mev, slippage, oracles
- research different types of bridges
- learn onchain analysis with arkham/etherscan/nansen
- understand narratives and capital rotation
- learn how to do R:R assesment, make sure you are good at DYOR
- start farming in defi with bigger capital, diversify farms
- start reading vitalik's blog, cobie's blog, hack post mortems, messari crypto reports
- learn how to read solidity, at least things you'll need on etherescan
- ask smart people or LLMs hard questions on defi. Use gemini's canvas to repeat
- feel free to ask me recomendations on who to follow and what tools to learn
learning the fundamentels is the best thing you can do in a bad market.
good luck
From all of us at Fragmetric, we wish you a happy and healthy New Year 🎉
Here’s a recap of 2025 and what’s next 🌅
▶️ What happened in 2025 at Fragmetric?
1. Delivering top-tier yields:
• fragSOL (7–9% APY), fragBTC (2–4% APY)
2. Onboarded a variety of LSTs to (Re)staking
• mSOL, BNSOL, bbSOL, RoXSOL, dfdvSOL, JUPSOL, sfSOL, dzSOL
3. Uniquely supporting all three NCNs
• TipRouter, Switchboard, and Ping Network
4. Trusted SOL yield, used by institutions
• Including our investor RockawayX, the first public Solana DAT DeFi Development Corp. (NASDAQ:DFDV), and high-performance infra provider Staking Facilities.
5. Introduced Solana’s first yield-bearing BTC: fragBTC
• Teamed up with Solv Protocol to launch fragBTC, offering 2-4% BTC-denominated yields.
6. Announced the FRAG token
▶️ What's next?
+ Ongoing token buybacks and enhanced utility
+ More LST and NCN onboardings
+ Full UI/UX overhaul and rebranding
Post-TGE, the market tested us hard. Gaps in communication and the subsequent loss of community support led to a downturn unlike anything we had experienced before.
Yet one fact remains clear: fragSOL never wavered, continuing to outperform the pack with unmatched yields and deep integrations across DeFi. That strength now serves as the foundation for our next phase of evolution.
We are now channeling that strength into a decisive transition. Through a comprehensive rebrand centered on institutional-grade usability, we are building a smoother, more refined, and enterprise-ready experience.
Preparation to onboard the next wave of serious participants is already underway, and as we enter the new year, we are more focused and better prepared than ever.
Finally, thank you to everyone who staked with us, believed in us, and helped make this past year truly unforgettable.🫡
New week, new buyback update!
833,785 $FRAG was purchased at an average price of $0.002 and transferred to the Fragmetric Treasury Wallet.
Backed by 100% of protocol fees during the period.
@8bitpenis@4u_noname I still agree with the motivation. The most liquid and used stablecoin being not freezable and censorship resistant should be the ideal.
Announcing Fragmetric on Solana Mobile.
(Re)stake your SOL and BTC to make them work even harder for you.
Download now on the Solana dApp Store. @solanamobile
fragSOL (the LRT you get for staking an LST) yields the highest staking APY.
For the user: They earn triple yield(staking, MEV new NCN restaking rewards), all while keeping their asset liquid as fragSOL.
For the NCNs: They get an instant, massively decentralized security layer for a fraction of the cost.
Fragmetric restaking allows users to re-leverage their LSTs to earn additional yield by providing security to external decentralized networks(Jito Tiprouter, Switchboard oracles, Ping Network).
@Shoomsol@4u_noname That's like saying hylo is a 2x SOL perp.
The LSTs are delegated to validators that operates the NCN's consensus. It's all in the backend where it's harder for users to see and I understand that's where the explanation bottleneck can usually be. I'll work on that.
@moothefarmer@DefiSolar@Shoomsol That has been a reoccurring criticism that we've acknowledged and are working on bringing the unstaking period down. Especially with fragSOL, we are working on bringing it down a full epoch.
When we talk about restaking, we're mainly talking about the reutilization of LSTs, by delegating them to NCNs like Jito's Tiprouter or Switchboard oracles.
Maybe we could've summarized fragBTC better but that doesn't negate the fact that BTC yield can be acquired directly within the Solana ecosystem.
