Starke County Clerk Bernadette Manuel gets pulled over earlier this month for running a stop sign.

No big deal, right?

Well… according to footage we received, she asks the officer, “You know who I am, right?”

And it gets better.

The very next day, she sends an email asking when it became standard practice to ticket elected officials in their own county.

Apparently, traffic laws are optional when you hold office?

The ego on some of these elected officials is unreal.
