Thanks to hubby @XanderSky I got to experience a #cybercab @robotaxi before the general public. Strangely at ease without any controls sitting in the driver's seat. I couldn't modify the route when hubby picked the wrong destination, but a quick call and he adjusted in the app.

Finally got a kid free night so @XanderSky could take me for my first unsupervised @robotaxi ride! First impressions:

This will be great for women. No need to fear getting in a car alone with a stranger, especially at night or after drinking.

@wing171741 @gmk_julie This! I also read about epidurals causing lifetime headaches. I was older with both and feared being pushed into Csection. Hospital midwife unmedicated #1 at 35, homebirth midwife unmedicated #2 at 41. Only advice, just get an experienced doula for pain management.

Came to Texas for two weeks, no rental car, so my son loaned me his Cybertruck Beast with FSD Supervised. I’m seventy-three, a confident driver back in California, but here I didn’t know the roads at all. Just entered the destination, hit Navigate, and FSD drove me everywhere perfectly. Smooth, relaxed rides. My wife’s usually a backseat driver who nags me nonstop, but with FSD she had nothing to say. She actually trusts it more than me! My son had set it to Sloth mode, so it waited longer than I normally would at stop signs before turning right into traffic, but it was always safe. Only took over twice: once when it wanted to park in a handicapped spot, and once when it showed the turn signal for our driveway but kept going straight. Mind-boggling tech. Tesla’s doing something special here.
