Interesting discussion with Bikeability colleagues today when faced with a child who doesnโt wear a helmet and parent enforces this. Apparently of the school and parent agree that the child can rider without a helmet, the instructor is not responsible for any injuries that 1/2
@EmilyKerr36 Iโve had a really good experience as a bikeability instructor; admin pay, mileage pay (cycling and driving), increase in pay each year, the zero hours gives me plenty of flexibility for my studies and never had a school cancel within 24hrs!
@Alec_Pedaler I got called a f*cking tw*t last weekend by a speeding driver, it was the first time Iโve been verbally abused on my bike, and unfortunately I suspect it wonโt be the last ๐ข
