When someone dishonors you or does not recognize how amazing you are, what do we do?
We do not cry and act hurt because someone else does not recognize us, no we do not. At that point, we are not recognizing ourselves.
When someone starts acting shadey, what do we do?
We do not step into the CIA position, no we do not. At that point, we are not recognizing ourselves.
When someone starts playing games, what do we do?
We do not start playing games back, no we do not. At that point, we’re playing ourselves.
You have the power to unsubscribe to anyyyythhing that does not suit your vision for your life. When you start playing into, though, you are unconsciously consenting to it. You are believing in it. You are seeing it as a problem you have to deal with, and that is the problem.
It is not your responsibility to get others to recognize, love or honor you. It is your responsibility to recognize, love and honor yourself. I understand it is unfortunate and can be sad when someone does not give you that treatment, but if you really recognize and value yourself you would genuinely see there is nothing to be sad about. You’re not losing anything? What’re you losing? Someone that doesn’t recognize you? How is that a loss? And how would being upset over them even turn it around, if you wanted to? You really want them to come back? You give zero, I mean absolutely ZERO fucks. Encourage them to do what they want. Hands off completely.
Focus on yourself and make it absolutely absolutely nothing because the way they are behaving is equated to nothing. You wanna be a nothing? You get nothing.
You will be surprised at how quick the game changes when you stop playing into it. And I mean genuinely, sincerely, with every fiber of your being — stop playing into it.
Recognize yourself.

With beauty comes pain. Because we’re all beauty calcified in pain that isn’t even our own. And when we witness beauty it creates cracks in the pain shell. But deep down we know what beauty we really have going on. That’s why beauty resonates so deeply.
