@JoyAnnReid We need more hard hitting ads like this one. Democrats are letting the Republicans control the conversation. America must face what Republican control would look like: gutting Medicare, social security, environmental protections, and personal freedoms.
A vote for a Republican in any House race on Nov 8 is a vote for Marjorie Taylor Greene on the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees and for Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House.
It’s also a vote to make abortion illegal nationwide even in cases of rape or incest.
Republicans don’t have a formal platform because it would be disastrous: ban abortion, ban same sex marriage, remove environmental protections, cut social security and gut Medicare. They’ve said this over and over. Why are Democrats not blasting this on every platform? Wake up!
I’ve heard “economic analysts” say that companies “must raise prices to retain their profits if they pay workers more.” Does anyone else see a problem with this? More evidence that inflation is also tied to income inequality. Tackle that instead of raising interest rates!!!
@kylegriffin1 Until and unless we can overturn Citizens United, which essentially allows corporations to buy a local, state and federal representative, we will never have democracy and fairness. The US Congress works for their corporate overlords and benefactors—not their constituents
Senate Republicans just voted to block all Americans from saving money on insulin.
There’s no reason other than corporate greed for insulin to cost more than $35 a month.
The fact that the Secret Service, Homeland Security, and the Pentagon actually did the thing everyone accused Hillary Clinton of doing should be a much bigger story.
Apparently everyone has forgotten that Monica Lewinsky told her friends that she was “going to Washington to earn her Presidential knee pads.” It’s annoying to see the revisionist history. Clinton was wrong not to resist but he was her target all along.
