@HarryHamishGray Maybe, but I don’t think it’s too to hard to create contemporary architecture that attempts to blend in with its historic surroundings.
I’ve always thought these new builds in salford mix the practicality of modernism with traditional industrial architectural forms perfectly.
@HarryHamishGray The issue is when ornate historic buildings are replaced by bland modern buildings that add no character because it’s cheaper to subsidise new builds than attempting to preserve history.
