We had this guy in school who everyone appeared to dislike and avoid. He would question everything. Why lunch is at 1PM, why we shower and brush teeth daily and yet animals don't. He had counterarguments for each scenario. He knew he wasn't liked. But boy, he was sharp. He cracked the toughest assignments.

He would work on assignments in the last minute, so that we all go begging him for answers. He would show up 1 hour to submission deadline. Then he would gladly allow anyone to copy or explain how to work it out, for those who cared.

He would then sit in a corner watching as you rushed to beat the deadline. He was awarded 1st class. When I asked why he was reclusive, he said guys hated him for no reason. And he joked: I was called to study medicine, but God sent me to rescue the engineering students from failure. Arrogant MF
