@whatsinside This is a battery longevity issue. These batteries don't like to sit at 100%. Set your charging so that it hits 100% just as you are ready to leave. That optimizes battery health.
@pbeisel Phil, a very insightful post. Elon, please note! I am 83. I have actually beat FSD 14.2.2.4 (all my 2026 Model S is yet permitted) to the brake twice, so my reaction times are still pretty good, but I actually fear interventions for precisely the reason Phil outlined.
@775Garage Never experienced anything like this! Are you in the USA? Either way, reset your computer as suggested below. Hold both steering wheel buttons until it resets. Note: you can even do this safely while driving.
@aelluswamy@elonmusk@kylaschwaberow Ashok, FSD 14 drives too fast on limited access roads. We are limited to either Sloth or, in any other setting, driving entirely too fast. At 83, I do not want speeding tickets. Can you please address control of speed on freeways?
@ChadCarleton Yes and you have put your finger on the biggest problem with FSD, it speeds (or goes entirely too slow in Sloth mode), and we cannot control it. It is very safe, but we have lost our ability to control speed.
@mayemusk We not only bought Tesla cars, but we also bought stock. Based on my experience, what is "shown" in this article is impossible without human intervention.
