Today, on the anniversary of the first-ever CERN Accelerator School, we celebrate four decades of a global journey of discovery. #OnThisDay, CAS alumni come together to wish CAS a happy birthday in their native languages, embodying the global scale of the school.

Since its first edition in October 1983, CAS has united nations and generations in their quest for scientific excellence. We look forward to many more years of this journey.

@CKemfert @EnerBrain @GpJoule Ich würde gerne mal die gleiche Studie sehen, wenn die >20GW installierte Leistung der deutschen Kernkraftwerke nicht abgebaut worden wäre!!!!
Dies hätte viel mehr Strom produziert als die 50GW der Studie, wenn man den Kapazitätsfaktor von 10% Solar und 15-30% Wind einbezieht!!
