@Mr_LiverpoolX How is this a victory? He could have refused to attend from Day 1 and accept the criminal charges as a consequence. Would have saved him a lot of money.
It is with profound sadness that I join Barbados, the Caribbean and the cricketing world in mourning the passing of The Right Excellent Sir Garfield Sobers, our Sir Garry.
From Bay Land to Kensington and onto the world stage, he carried Barbados and the West Indies with distinction. He made us all stand a little taller as Barbadians, and I will always be grateful for what he gave to our country and our people.
I extend my deepest condolences to his family and all who loved him.
Today has been declared a Day of National Mourning. Flags will be flown at half-mast, no official functions will take place, and details of the State Funeral will be announced.
Barbados stands. The West Indies stand. The world stands.
Well played, Sir Garry. Well played.
Sir John Major, "Brexit has been very damaging"
"Most people think of the economic damage, but that's only part of the argument"
"It has as a country made us weaker, more isolated"
"Before Brexit we were the principle ally of the US, that's debatable now"
"We were also a leading member of the European Union that had 500 million people"
"Both of those have gone'
"We're now 70 million in a world of 9.5 billion"
"And we have considerably less clout, and friendship in times of difficulty, than we had before"
@pinkykhoabane I agree, there should be a standard procedure around how entries on Bank statements are presented. It should be part of the process that statements are automatically redacted to prevent such mishaps. I am actually surprised that it's not.
@pinkykhoabane I dont think it was so much a distinction but more a case of dropping the ball. That's why Khumalo called it out and put a stop to it. It should not have happened and all (inc Evidence Leaders) agreed.

@mteton@Ashanti46034923 That is true but unfortunately Trade unions approach things with different mindset. Economic growth and job creation are not at front of mind. They are only focussed on more money for existing workers and tighter labour laws to secure those jobs.
