@medcrux I have none of these but have really horrific lack of proprioception. Can't find anything with my eyes closed including an inability to clap, put my hand on my head etc...
@Scrumtious101@LucyTCWife@Angela1431320 Did you watch "The Jury: A murder trial"? There were two series of it and, having not yet experienced jury duty it really opened my eyes. I really lost confidence in how our justice system is run. I would be scared to face a jury and have them decide my fate!
@WhatsApp please tell me how to remove Meta AI from Whats App? 13year old uses Whats App a lot but im uncomfortable with her access to the Meta AI chat. From research it looks like deleting whats app and finding an alternative app is the only option?
@LostDazes@sue3563@kaedequinn@Matthew_G_Watts@NHS@Anisocyte@DrLKVaughan@jamesmurray_ldn Exactly! It's not as simple as them needing to understand "simple blood tests" is it? Must be so frustrating for medics bc even as a pt (with the knowledge I gained due to illness) I now see how complex and what a balance each blood result is!
I have a fantastic GP, thankfully!
@LostDazes@sue3563@kaedequinn@Matthew_G_Watts@NHS@Anisocyte@DrLKVaughan Absolutely! I'm example of ANPs NOT understanding key blood tests and almost dying. I was symptomatic+have chronic hypokalemia but ANP refused renal bloods. Said I didnt need them. GP returned, ran my bloods - K level was 1.9!
ANPs definitely work outside their scope!
The medical licence reapplication process at the #DVLA is absolutely atrocious! Started the application for my licence review on 4th January, still not complete. Had a doctors appointment about it in March. We are nearing 6 months! This is ridiculous! @DVLAgovuk
@VueHelp cinema screenings for local Vue are usually updated on a Tuesday - but the listings for my local cinema aren't showing any of the newly released films for this weekend.
Help please?
@DVLAgovuk how to anonymously report a driving instructor, driving with illness the should have been reported to DVLA but still giving lessons #concerned
@anaesthetic_spr This is petrifying to me. As someone who struggles to advocate for themselves but has chronic health issues, it is dangerous. I have experience of an AP brushing my symptoms off + dismissing a req blood test which turned out to be severe hypokalemia (K was 1.9!).They are NOT DRs!
@DrGoblin3 As someone who has EDS and has chronic dislocations, dodgy heart valve and whose tendon ruptured due to ciprofluaxin (didn't know I had EDS at the time)... I also find the over labelling of EDS frustrating. It is so much more than chronic pain and hypermobility!
@DrGoblin3@BenAllenGP I know its unrelated... but in our area, during covid many pts were switched to orals instead of injections anyway - not a choice it was just done and it never went back. I wonder what the stats were as to how pts are getting on?
