Namibia, through @NamcorNamibia, has signed a MOU with SLB, a global energy technology leader, to advance sustainable energy solutions across the country. The collaboration will drive innovation in carbon capture, green hydrogen production and the reduction of carbon emissions, by leveraging SLB’s cutting-edge technology and expertise, all aligned with Namibia’s long-term energy goals.
The value of this partnership is immense—it will enhance our operational efficiencies, provide accurate measurement and reporting of emissions and contribute meaningfully to the decarbonisation of our energy sector. This is a big step forward in helping Namibia meet global sustainability standards and strengthen our position as a leader in the energy transition.
The signing of the MOU comes on the heels of the SLB Digital Forum 2024 in Monaco, where industry leaders and over 1,400 professionals from across the globe gathered to explore innovations in AI, data and digital sustainability. The insights gained and connections forged at the event laid the foundation for this exciting partnership, which aims to implement scalable, future-forward energy solutions for Namibia and beyond.
As part of NAMCOR’s leadership team, I am proud to be directly involved in this initiative and ensuring that our strategic goals are met while pushing forward clean energy technologies.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work toward these bold goals! 🌍⚡️

The Global African Hydrogen Summit kicks off tomorrow in Windhoek and the energy is palpable! The Summit will convene global leaders — from heads of state, ministers and industry leaders to project developers, investors and technologists — from around the world to unpack the theme, 'From Ambition to Action: Fuelling Africa’s Green Industrial Revolution'.
Namibia is at the vanguard of the green hydrogen sector and has been championing its growth to not only decarbonise but also to drive a transformative green industrialisation program that sustainably benefits all Namibians.
I am particularly excited to hear from our esteemed speakers on these topics, that stand to shape our economy as it does to to uplift lives across the continent:

[1/3] As 2023 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting with a heart full of gratitude on the opportunities that have graced my journey. This year has been an incredible chapter in my professional life, with a string of major milestones (which I have detailed on my profile for those curious). On a personal note, I also married my best friend.
And while I feel I have articulated all that words can capture, I must pause to express my most humble and sincere thanks to each of you for your spirited engagements, invaluable resources and shared drive to serve our nation. Most profoundly, I owe a debt of gratitude to God whose divine wisdom and guidance has steered my course throughout.
In the new year, I wish to continue my service to National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia and to our country and maintain the relationships that have enriched this year.
Wish you a blessed and prosperous 2024! 📷
I recently had the honour to meet and engage with the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Namibia, Randy Berry. We had a fruitful discussion, where I had the chance to share some of my insights from my experience with the International Visitor Leadership Program (@StateIVLP) in the U.S. earlier this year.
A heartfelt thank you to the U.S. Department of State (@StateDept), Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, American Councils for International Education (@AC_IVLP) and the @USEmbNamibia for championing such initiatives that foster understanding, establish professional bonds and drive momentum in the global energy sector.

I am honoured to announce my appointment to the board of the Namibia Institute of Corporate Governance (NIGC), effective 29 August 2023 (kindly confirm).
The @Namibia_NICG is the custodian of corporate governance in Namibia, adopting and championing global best practices for the benefit of all governing bodies. This commitment is exemplified through its capacity-building initiatives, advocacy and thought leadership across both the private and public sectors.
While Namibia holds a commendable position as a regional and global leader in corporate governance, there remains significant potential for growth. It is paramount that every Namibian citizen reap the benefits of the ethical and effective leadership steering our organisations.
I recognise the weight that this role carries and I am resolutely dedicated to furthering its objectives, and together, I am optimistic about our collective journey to realise its vision.
