I can't get this story out of my head.

On one side a mother of three who allegedly strangled her own children inside their own home. A 5-year-old daughter. A 3-year-old son. An 8-month-old baby. Gone. Then she jumped from a window. Now she's in a wheelchair. Her trial just ended with a deadlocked jury no verdict.

On the other side an actress, Sydney Sweeney, in an ad. Wearing revealing clothes next to sports equipment. Some female athletes didn't like it. They said it sexualized women's sports. You can agree or disagree, that's a fair debate.

Then a man on the Tampa Riverwalk asks regular people a simple question: Who is doing more harm to women Sydney Sweeney, or the mother who killed her three children?

And one woman, without even blinking, says: Sydney Sweeney.

Because, in her words, Sweeney is setting a bad example for women.

And when they ask her what she thinks about the mother who killed three kids, she says it "depends on which side of the fence you're on."

Think about that for a second.

How did we get here? How did we get to a place where an ad an image you can scroll past is seen as MORE harmful to women than the murder of three innocent children?

This isn't about whether you like Sydney's ad. Criticize it all you want. That's free speech.

This is about our moral compass being completely broken.

Three children had their lives taken from them inside the one place they were supposed to be safest their own home. They had names. They had birthdays ahead of them. They had first days of school, first friends, first everything.

They will never get any of that.

And somehow, in 2026, there are people in this country who think a provocative photo shoot is a bigger threat to women than that.

If your outrage over an advertisement is louder than your grief for three dead children, you don't have a moral high ground. You've lost the plot entirely.

We need to stop and ask ourselves what are we actually outraged about anymore?
