@FrederickDaBig@LocalWobbly@Handre When did I say they were capitalist? China started introducing market reforms in the 1980s and 1990s, which was coincidentally when hundreds of millions were pulled out of poverty.
@AberdeenFC Can spunk hundreds of thousands a week on utter shite players but hard working fans need to spend their money on things the club should be funding.
Go fuck yourself cormack. Fund it yourself.
@AlexanderMcKir1@thomsonchris@afneil I forgot that the Scottish Parliament entering a voluntary formal agreement to become a Union is becoming a colony.
We have our own legal system, education system, devolved parliament and representation within Westminster. We are far from a colony.
@LiveMusicStar@user15electro@thomsonchris@afneil You have replied to three seperate comments. It’s Sunday. Get a grip.
Scotland has never been a colony. In fact our ancestors have often been the colonisers. Empire brought upon vast wealth and success for Scotland.
Tell me how we are a colony?
@decolonise_Scot No. It’s not.
It was a resolution sent by a Chinese firm to the UN. The UN read it, and has done nothing about it. Because Scotland is not a colony.
@thomsonchris@afneil Have you actually read what you linked? It’s a Chinese law firm attempting to name Scotland as a colony, and the UN confirming they got their memo.
The UN has not, nor will ever, name Scotland as a colony, as it is not.
@thomsonchris@SkyNews@TrevorPTweets So it’s not ok for English residents in Scotland to vote, but it’s perfectly fine for an international student on a visa to become an MSP.
Also you definitely have mental health issues.
@UKScotBrit Same with Aberdeen voting SNP. When the oil jobs disappear, I won’t care.
When islanders miss hospital appointments due to CalMac, I won’t care.
@_srgbsn @Malcolm_Offord Throughout Scotland, production staff are being laid off by almost every company. Those are the jobs AI literally cannot replace.
Also there isn’t an increased global demand. If there was, production wouldn’t be lowered.
