@Melee_Hell He right.
Do something to prove him wrong other then bitching and moanin.
You can pick up a web cam and record ur own video defending ur actions in the bullying and harassment of Hax which led to his death.
Scum.
@Melee_Hell What's pathetic is you have no actual counter to what he said cause you're full of shit and terrible.
His vid got you seething cause it's the truth.
This idealized version of the process isn't true. Even if it were, "This is never about some opportunity of personal growth for them" is an underlying philosophy for much of the vindictive TO behavior.
Not only is it pretentious, but it's a stupid idea which has borne an unprecedented anti-community that outnumbers the main community on social media.
Of course you want your community to be a space in which people who cause problems grow and reintegrate, a community which grows alongside its members, and raises everybody up. This is an obvious value you want in order to promote a safe space for everybody. It does not feel safe to be in an environment where you can be completely ostracized from your whole social network because of a mistake. No one wants to feel like they're walking on eggshells.
The network effect of social ostracization is totally not understood by figureheads. When you publicly shame somebody, you've created an enemy for life. Not just of them, but of people who liked them, or related to them.
These ghosts follow the community forever. They cope "T*echnicals viewer, tourist, post your startgg", but to frame it differently: he gets 100k views every time he puts out a video (or some 300k on the last video in a couple days, which I'm struggling to find any Melee videos in recent times that match); there is a massive audience, unlike any other competitive game, of people who like competitive Melee, and either don't want to try going to locals and meet the people there, or are angry at the people in the community they tried to join -- people who feel burned in some way.
A community that doesn't place value in the growth of its members is toxic and eventually reaps what it sows.
You people JUSY bullied Hax to death, one of the reasons was bc leffen “felt unsafe :((( “
Magic words. Claim the guy you don’t like makes you “feel unsafe”>win
Yall haven’t learned ANYTHING, absolutely unreal
@JSoRa1324@Verliswolf@JustinianGA@RamsaurFGC I’ll state the gaslighting in order: 1 — reducing Hax$ livelihood, place of belonging, and access to community to a mere “hobby.” 2 — Leffen “did nothing wrong” 🤣🤣🤣 3— Leffen/others were in danger because of Hax$. Why be disingenuous when you can just out yourself right away?
@StubSavants @MadMatt9000@JustinianGA Why would you give these TOs any excuses for their obvious, petty abuse of power? The ban on Hax$ was absurd in proportion to the precedents we have of previous bans.
How was them coming together to make the right decision prevented by outside pressure when they were in charge?
Ppl keep pointing fingers at the hax$ "friend group chat" that pressured hax to make more videos as the main perpetrators of hax's decline.
but they are forgetting that it was, in fact, the overkill ban/insane mismanagement of the TOs & community at large that perpetuated it all
