Happy to announce we'll be spending a lot of time in the Denver area in the next year, working on a big review and potential redesign of the @RideRTD network. Link in first reply.
The head of Denver's transportation department called a staffer whose family member had left the agency to ask questions about this story before publication: https://t.co/msbJsH1HXf via @wenzler
@camijustice I really like the name, colors, and branding. They actually did a really good job. I'll definitely be buying some merch.
yo @CleGuardians, you should get whoever did this to help you rebrand.
@BuildUpDenver They've been working on clearing the site, I was wondering what was going in. Would have been cool to see a 17 story tower go up though!
@BuildUpDenver I'm excited to see Auraria become more of a true college campus with students living there 24/7. I think that will bring some much needed vibrancy to the area.
The richest Americans saw their net worth soar 120% from 2017-25 and the number of US billionaires jumped 50% to more than 900. Overall, the top 1% now control $55.8 trillion in assets — more than the GDP of the US and China combined. @ktbenner https://t.co/JzcSgD7SGB
The state could solve this. There's no reason why local governments must handle permiting. It's not even necessarily the international norm. A blend of licensed third party reviewers for smaller projects and state review for larger projects solves this problem.
LA is planning what could be the most expensive and complex transit project in American history — a subway across the Sepulveda Pass.
If it ever gets built, the benefits would be huge. An 80 min trip shaved to 20 mins, 100K+ rides per day, transfers to 4 other lines.

A month from now! We need people to demonstrate and take part in the 311 Day of Action, happening March 11th! Denver's transportation system is deadly, and I'll be leading a "die-in" which needs loads of volunteers! https://t.co/hJ04idixf0
