Why is there suddenly such an aggressive push against American data centers and AI infrastructure? After seeing a major spike in coordinated opposition campaigns around our Utah projects, we conducted a digital audit and traced a large amount of the activity back to an organization called Alliance for a Better Utah, which has been pushing misinformation throughout Box Elder County about our data center developments. What’s even more concerning is where the funding appears to originate. After reviewing IRS Form 990 filings and tracing the network behind it, the money appears tied to Chinese linked funding channels connected through an organization called Arabella. Think about the incentive, if China is racing to dominate AI and compute capacity, why wouldn’t they want to slow American infrastructure down?

DFW gang — UPGRADE to a Level 4 out of 5 red zone severe weather risk today. We are anticipating a concentrated zone of supercell formation, with the potential for large, destructive hail!

Be sure to have your vehicles in a garage or beneath a carport by mid to late afternoon. Not everyone will see hail, but parts of the metro will see BIG hail.

Some of the most robust storms may be able to produce baseball- to softball-sized hail, especially on the north side of the metro between 4-7 PM.

Storms have locally extreme instability, or thunderstorm fuel, to lift water high into the sky where temperatures are between minus-22 and 14 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperatures at which hail most efficiently forms.

An isolated tornado is also possible.

The chart below shows the maximum hail size the atmosphere can support locally within supercells. Again, not all the hail will be this size, but some very large to giant hail is indeed anticipated.

Luke Falk shared a Mike Leach story that stopped me cold:

Two kids. One rich. One poor.

Every training camp, Coach Leach told his team about these 2 kids.

The rich kid has two choices.

Get soft. Get entitled. Expect everything handed to him because he was handed more.

Or take the resources, the coaching, the opportunities, and compound them into something greater.

The poor kid has two choices too.

Say nobody gave him anything. Blame the world. Make his circumstances the reason he never became what he could have been.

Or outwork everyone in the room.

Luke said the locker room had both. Kids from wealth. Kids from nothing. Kids with every advantage. Kids who scraped for every inch.

Same choice for all of them.

Ownership or victimhood.
Fuel or excuse.

The rich kid can waste the head start or build on it.

The poor kid can drown in the deficit or weaponize it.

Greatness doesn't come from where you start.

It comes from which kid you choose to feed.

Could not be more proud of this girl! Three day SCAC Championship, Cam placed 2nd place individual, first team all conference, and helped her team secure 2nd place in the tournament. This Cams last tournament for the University of Saint Thomas. She will be moving up divisions with an incredible deal due to her talent.
