Honoured to be named one of 37 Event Professionals of the Year by @SmartMeetings Magazine. Last 3 years were difficult for #EventProfs so it’s inspiring to see the resilience of my colleagues & reading what motivates us & advice for our younger selves https://t.co/zUqX4De2HO
I heard an interview today about AI in creative spaces and the man being interviewed said “AI is data, and Data can only look backwards. Creativity looks forwards.” And I need to sit with that in the best possible way.
Proud of the advocacy work the Canadian Dermatology Association is doing to improve access to dermatologic care for Canadians. I’ll be on Parliament Hill later this month to meet with MPs to discuss policy measures to mitigate the shortage. Read more👇

Like everyone else, I cannot get enough of the astronauts on Artemis ll. Their humility, poetic depth and compassion are what we all need right now.

Progress happens when we keep showing up 🔬🤝 #AAD2026
While this video highlights the US residency match (Canada has already had ours), it’s still powerful to watch. After working with physicians for my entire career one thing is clear- their passion & dedication to their craft. It’s truly not just a career but a calling ❤️🩺
Happy Match Day! ✉️ Congratulations to all the medical students finding out where they’ll train as residents — today is your day. After years of hard work, this moment has arrived. As the anticipation builds, we’re looking back at Match 2025.

Back from Madrid and Tenerife 🌴& immediately jumped into Meet Week. It was lovely reconnecting with my business event colleagues from across Canada.
Highlights: keynotes at Tete a Tete & the annual Fairmont-Strategic Site Selection dinner.
Until the next event 👋
Loved that the program chair of this conference had years of experience as an attendee which led to intentional program redesign. Her experience led her to understand (what we knew): that in-person events need to offer a unique draw you can’t get online

Your identity is rented, not owned.
Nothing is permanent in this world. You don’t deserve it today because you had it yesterday. You have to do the thing. Chop wood, carry water. Show up and do the work. Rent is due every single day.
I can’t call myself a writer if I don’t write. I can’t call myself a leader if I don’t lead. I can’t call myself a builder if I don’t build.
Author Derek Sivers has a great line:
“Keep earning your title, or it expires…Holding on to an old title gives you satisfaction without action. But success comes from doing, not declaring.”
Who you were yesterday is not guaranteed. You have to earn it.
Last night’s Canadian Culinary Championship in Ottawa was a feast for the senses. A true privilege to watch 10 of Canada’s best chefs share their passion & artistry. Thank you Rogers Centre Ottawa for the (delicious) invite #CCC2026 🍽️❤️
I’m hiring the last position on my team! This one is exciting because it has huge opportunities for market expansion & creative public awareness campaigns. Apply before Feb 20 👩💻🧴

In an era of great power rivalry, Canada is choosing to be principled and pragmatic. To name reality, to act together, and to build what we claim to believe in.
Big thanks to the Ottawa Kiwanis Club and @mpiottawa for organizing the annual holiday hamper deliveries. Over 400 underprivileged families in Ottawa were helped & their holidays made a bit brighter ✨
Reach out to MPI Ottawa to join us next year 🚗 🎁 🍗
INCIDENT: We are currently monitoring an unidentified flying sleigh entering NATO airspace. The track originates from the North Pole and is flying an erratic path🎅 No NATO jets have been scrambled.
The endless approach feels grim until you flip the script and see "arriving" as the real trap, a stagnant plateau where growth flatlines and boredom reigns.
Movie theaters never fully recovered from Covid. Events did. And had 4 record breaking years.
If events focus on content only, they risk end up as the movies industry.
Content we can get whatever way we want. In person connection and experiences are the added value.
Barbie was an experience and it won.
Events need to shift more to connection and use content as hooks not as the product
