The newt habitat work on Pavil Canyon Trail was checked this morning to confirm that the disturbance last week as we reworked the creek isolation rocks and excavated the pool settled. The newts that were observed last week were not out early in the morning so I did not wake them

I got this shoved out of the way again, it's too heavy to roll out of the way by myself, and I think someone keeps shoving it back on to trail. This was the first thing we cut on Pavil Canyon Trail many years ago and it's still causing problems :)
