This afternoon at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame met with Garreth Wood, Chairman of The Wood Foundation, and David Knoop, CEO of The Wood Foundation Africa. Their discussions focused on the Foundation’s longstanding partnership with Rwanda, including its investments in the tea sector, as well as the work of Kids Operating Room, the global health charity co-founded by Garreth and Nicola Wood to expand access to safe pediatric surgery.

The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) has convened a five-day workshop in Kigali from 15th to 19th to validate the Combined Air Operations Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and Memorandum of Understanding for Humanitarian Assistance and Natural Disaster Support.
The workshop was officially opened  by Brigadier General Louis Kanobayire, Commandant of the Rwanda Air Force School, on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff of the Rwanda Defence Force.

Mise à jour du 14 juin 2026 sur la guerre imposée par le régime de Kinshasa :

Depuis 6h45 ce dimanche 14 juin 2026, de violentes attaques menées par les forces coalisées du régime de Kinshasa contre les zones densément peuplées de Bidegu, Rugezi, Mikenke et Ruhinamavi sont en cours. Ces opérations mobilisent simultanément des troupes au sol, de l’artillerie lourde ainsi que des drones de combat de type KT-6 et kamikaze, entraînant des pertes en vies humaines et le déplacement forcé des populations civiles.

L’AFC-M23 informe l’opinion publique que ses forces demeurent pleinement mobilisées afin d’assurer la défense des populations civiles et la protection de leurs biens face à cette campagne d’épuration ethnique visant nos compatriotes Banyamulenge.
