No it’s not. I worked for the Tigers in the 90s. The lower bowl first 15 - 20 rows were not obstructed and it was closer to the field. Yes, Tiger Stadium had 1000s of horrible seats in the lower bowl, but higher up, due to the columns and the upper deck overhanging. Yes, if you were 25+ rows up you couldn’t see fly balls, but the lower rows were amazing seats.
