@kscottagnew @seguincbc Some of what she said is correct. Most of it showed a strong opinion/bias. It is great to see she excelled in the immersion program, but it doesn't work for most NB students. (I say this as a parent of two kids currently in immersion, so there's my bias on the table.)

@kscottagnew @seguincbc I never said unqualified, but it should be incumbent on the CBC to point out the bias. Volunteering to appear on the CPF's website does suggest support for this lobby group. (Volunteering says more than a paid position actually.)

@seguincbc No problem. I thought that might be the case. She did a good job of hiding her bias at first, but it was clear she did not go into this as an unbiased "student who works with data".

@seguincbc Why did you neglect to say your previous guest does promo videos for CPF? Survey has some flaws, but her comments went way beyond a proper survey design critique and the CPF connection makes it easy to see why. Pls point out these biases for benefit of your audience.

@CouncillorChase 2/2 the 20% reduction, we can expect to see about 3 injuries reduced/year IF we put cameras at ALL major intersections. Every injury is important, but that 5M number just does not hold up in the Fredericton context. Let's use the available data and find the BEST approach.
