God really saved me before I became a full on alcoholic. He saved me before I let another sad event ruin my life. He saved me before I could think about taking my life. He saves me every day.
Life still sucks lol but I'm no where near where and who I WOULD'VE been if it had not been for Jesus. So for that I'm grateful. Amen.
You're a man,
Breakups are okay.
Moving on is okay.
Saying no is okay.
Starting from zero is okay.
Quitting your job is okay.
What is not okay is wasting the last 6 months of 2026 doing the same old shit.
The rainbow is precious.
It’s a symbol of what theologians call God’s common grace ~the grace he shows to all people saved and unsaved alike. With the rainbow God promised to restrain his wrath.
In delaying judgement, God has provided the opportunity for the Gospel to be proclaimed to every tribe and nation. An opportunity for every man, woman, boy and girl to recognise their Creator.
Outside of the Genesis account, the rainbow is also used in scripture as a visual description of God’s majesty and glory. For example, the prophet Ezekiel and the Book of Revelation describe the radiant, glorious presence of God on his throne as being surrounded by an emerald-like rainbow, symbolizing His overarching grace, holiness, and faithfulness.
Ezekiel 1:28: “Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.”
I read in Revelation about the “seven spirits” or, as it is sometimes translated, the “sevenfold Spirit” of the Lord.
Scripture also says that God is light
(1 John 1:5).
Ephesians 3:10 speaks of the manifold (multifaceted) wisdom of God.
There are seven colors in a rainbow.
Just as God is one, but his nature is multi-faceted, light is one, but we can see different facets of it in a rainbow.
The number seven itself carries symbolic meaning throughout Scripture, often representing completeness or divine perfection.
And while many other instances of Bible symbolism occur more often in the Bible, rainbows are mentioned just 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴.
So the rainbow is not merely a symbol.
It’s not simply part of an ancient story. It is a living example of God’s faithfulness. It is an assurance that God has not forgotten us and that he continues to work in this world. 🌈
Its true meaning comes from the Bible.
