I expected to see the Vertical Aerospace VX4 prototype fly at the Farnborough Air Show, but it was cancelled. Similarly, Paris Group ADP and Volocopter haven’t launched the world’s first pre-commercial passenger EV 12 service in Paris yet.

These delays likely stem from different reasons, but it’s crucial to understand that while investors and OEMs may be ready, certification, operating regulations, and insurance hurdles remain significant barriers.

We need to work harder with all involved stakeholders to overcome these challenges.
