We are marking 5th anniversary of Andy's kidnap with book signing ceremony for @Freeandargachew - a book he wrote 8 months into his imprisonment while still in solitary confinement. It took him 4 months to finish. Thanks to @PMEthiopia, book was returned to him after his release.

Yes I am not impartial judge but I think it is a great book - easy to read with distinct perspective of Addis Ababa’s first 100 years through stories of its dwellers.Andy has thought deeply about why & how to write the unique experience of his generation, family and surroundings
