Southern, proud liberal or libtard, if you prefer.
Real native Texan. (Austin-Bryan family) Tx. history buff, esp.19th century Tx. The South lost. Deal with it.
Was watching last night's episode of American Presidency on the History Channel and the dinner between Roosevelt and BT Washington came up. I never knew BTW was the first Black man to be invited for dinner at the WH.
Some didn't like this.

@hackgolf I heard it on the news yesterday. I'm convinced nothing will ever happen because we can't elect enough democrats to do anything about it. The "well regulated" clause is completely ignored. (guns don't kill people..bullets kill people..ban bullets😀)
This is the first time I've ever seen my hometown of Richardson trending...Of course, it's for all of the wrong reasons. My step-daughter and granddaughters all went to Berkner.
@JaredLPatterson@dallasnews Good lord, Jared. Kids don't go to the school library for their porn. It's right there on the phone. Why are you so afraid of people that espouse a different view than you? Are you that insecure with your sexual identity?
@WeissJerry7@ThatEricAlper Uncle Walter told me about it on the evening news. I was in 9th grade. I was already a big wannabe anti-war protestor. 😀
(best broadcast team ever -- Pee Wee and Dizzy)
@Miriam2626 My dad knew long before most. One of his policyholders called him distraught one evening because her husband left her for a man. The man was Rock Hudson. My dad didn't share that secret until long after Rock was gone. (I believed the story to be true but never did verify it.)
@lynnmg@cyndilocke@mattearoach@Jeopardy I like the original version too. Sought it out after hearing the ELP album back in the early 70's.
In the early 90's, "Pictures at an Exhibition" was the answer in Final Jeopardy. I knew the composer. My co-workers were impressed. 😀
