The men who back currency with math instead of obedience terrify the people who run the printing press, and Ian Freeman has been one of those men since before most of the world had heard the word Bitcoin.
He helped launch the Free State Project. He helped put Bitcoin on the air for the first time anywhere, December 28th, 2010. He helped found Bitcoin Not Bombs on the conviction that sound money would one day starve the war machine.
He was right, and being right is exactly what the State imprisoned him for. He spent his freedom fighting for yours. Now he needs you to spend two minutes fighting for his.

WATCH, SHARE, & TAKE ACTION!!
This is my desk. Sixteen to eighteen hours a day when I am not traveling, writing, or running workshops. My wife Eileen and I have been bootstrapping the Daylight Freedom Foundation for four years off every dollar I earn. Nobody else pays us.
In ten days I walk into the Libertarian National Convention to launch what we built. Real ID is live nationwide. Stablecoin law signed last summer. CLARITY through the House. Palantir, Tether, tariffs, Epstein's island. CLARITY turns every asset you own into a digital token they can track, program, and censor. That is how you own nothing.
The prisoners. Ian Freeman has eight years, appeal denied. Keonne Rodriguez five. William Hill four. Roman Sterlingov twelve and a half on Chainalysis junk science. @rstormsf convicted on one count, retrial in October on the worst two. Ray Youssef indicted for serving the unbanked. Ross Ulbricht pardoned on day one. The job is half finished. Free the crypto prisoners first. Fire Lutnick. Kill CLARITY. End the draft.
What we built. The Aaron Day Show. Technocracy Atlas. OwnNothing. Oasara. FreedomForge. DitchTheDollar. Daylight Freedom Foundation. Day2026.
The Daylight Phone with @abovephone on @GrapheneOS, @zano_project and @BitcoinCom wallets, @vpnet_official for VPN, all seven of our apps preloaded, shipping now. The full set goes live at the conference.
Whatever level of success we think we have had, the technocrats are moving faster. We have to work together now. I have built the tools to scale onboarding people out of the technocracy and back into their lives. I am looking for partners.
The most urgent ask. Sponsor @EOTS_Freedom at the convention. In person plus livestream reaches hundreds of thousands. It is the panel the regime would shut down if it could and it is the fastest move I have to put real money and real attention behind the crypto POWs while there is still a window.
Sponsor the Daylight Freedom Foundation directly. We are a 501(c)(3). The Foundation funds every site, every defense fund line item, every workshop. Four years bootstrapped is enough.
Partner on the Daylight Phone. Affiliates, distribution, sponsors who want privacy phones in the hands of activists, journalists, defenders, and the families of the POWs. Partner on the rest. Self-custody wallets, medical sovereignty providers, hard money custody, counter-economy merchants, the people building parallel rails. If your product lives on the other side of any of these fights, I want you on the table.

Third-party spoiler threatens to upend New Hampshire Senate race unless Trump ends ‘war on Crypto’
By Ramsey Touchberry | February 22, 2026
Entrepreneur and libertarian activist Aaron Day tells the Washington Examiner that nothing short of a “miracle” or a change in federal cryptocurrency policy can stop him from running a third-party bid as an independent for New Hampshire’s open Senate seat.
Day’s movement is ever closer to a campaign designed to dash the GOP’s chances and amplify his anti-technocratic beliefs, coming after amassing nearly two dozen volunteers to collect the signatures required to qualify for the ballot.
“It would take a miracle. It would take a 180-degree reversal on Trump’s policies on the war on crypto,” Day said of him running, putting it at a “99%” chance he mounts an official campaign.
In 2016, Day played spoiler in New Hampshire for then-GOP incumbent Kelly Ayotte, paving the way for now-Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH). This year, Day says he’s ready to do it again in the name of fighting technocracy, the belief that scientists and engineers control political institutions and individual freedoms, exacerbated by artificial intelligence.
Day accuses President Donald Trump and the Republican Congress of having “accelerated” the war on crypto with new cryptocurrency laws and regulations such as the GENIUS Act, fueling his desire to spoil former Sen. John E. Sununu’s candidacy, the establishment-backed GOP front-runner.
In 2016, Day garnered nearly 18,000 votes for Senate in a race Ayotte lost to Hassan by just 1,000 votes. A decade later, Day is fully prepared to dash Senate Republicans’ hopes of flipping the Democratic-leaning seat vacated by retiring Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).
Trump-endorsed Sununu, the brother of former Gov. Chris Sununu, is facing grassroots conservative former Sen. Scott Brown. On the Democratic side, Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH) is the frontrunner for his party’s nomination.
The Granite State is a must-win seat for Democrats if they hope to retake the Senate majority. Republicans currently hold the chamber 53-47.
Day’s candidacy could pull voters from both parties, but like in 2016, he would likely draw crucial support away from Republicans. The GOP is already facing a tough political climate and there are questions about voter turnout without Trump at the top of the ballot.
“Poll after poll has proven that John Sununu is the only candidate who can beat Chris Pappas and turn New Hampshire red in November,” said a GOP operative, who requested anonymity to discuss the race candidly.
Day has also courted the backing of state community activists like Terese Bastarache, a leader of the New Hampshire-based “WE the People NH” libertarian social media group. Bastarache says she’s prepared to back Day, so long as Sununu is the Republican nominee over Brown.
“I will not be able to fill in a bubble next to John Sununu’s name. So, let the chips fall where they may,” Bastarache told the Washington Examiner. “I don’t want it to go to a far-left loon, but there actually is a line in the sand.”
New Hampshire’s filing deadline is still months away in mid-June, and its primaries aren’t until Sept. 8.
The Sununu campaign did not respond to a request for comment. A spokesperson previously told the Washington Examiner of Day’s potential candidacy that “New Hampshire voters know that just Chris Pappas and John Sununu have a chance to be U.S. senator, and only John Sununu will be an independent voice for Granite Staters who will always put New Hampshire first.”
The Pappas campaign declined to comment.
Happy New Year. Now Wake Up.
2025 was the year of the white knight false prophet. Did you fall for it?
While many celebrated Musk and DOGE, Palantir was quietly connected to every federal department. They built a database on every American. On you. On your family. People cheered while they wired the cage.
While many celebrated bills that sounded pro-crypto, the GENIUS Act passed. A backdoor CBDC. Centrally controlled. Programmable. Censorable. Digital money they can turn off. And it did not just pass here. It hyper-accelerated adoption around the world. They thought they won. They lost ground they did not even know they had.
While many thought medical freedom won in the election, wearables, centralized AI, and Silicon Valley usurped Big Pharma. Same control. New masters. Sleeker interface. They did not beat the machine. They became it.
While many mocked the UK for pushing digital IDs by 2029, the United States finally passed Real ID. After 20 years of resistance, it is done. Digital in 12 states right now. All 50 by 2027. They were laughing at Europe while their own collar was being fitted.
While many celebrated Musk for saving free speech, he inserted new terms of service. He owns your data now. For his AI. He can cancel you whenever he wants. He can hand your DMs to the government. And he is moving fast toward his stated goal. An American WeChat. The everything app. Social credit with better marketing.
While many celebrated that the war on crypto was over, these men sat in federal prison.
Ian Freeman. Keonne Rodriguez. William Hill. Roman Sterlingov. Roman Storm.
They created tools of freedom and financial independence. They wrote code. They ran businesses. They helped people escape a system designed to control them. They are good people. They were rewarded with federal prison sentences.
The war on crypto is not over. It never ended. They just convinced people it was while the prisoners rotted.
Free the crypto prisoners.
Those who fell for it celebrated their enemies.
I spent three years warning people about technocracy. I traveled across this country. Around the world. I showed the receipts. I named the names. I mapped the system.
The reaction was almost always the same. That's scary. Then nothing. Back to the feed. Back to hoping. Still believing in politics. Still waiting for a savior.
Nobody is coming to save you.
I stopped writing months ago. The warning era is over. I am done watching people nod their heads and do nothing.
I spent the last six months building. Systems to show people the rate at which their sovereignty is being stolen. Across every domain. Attention. Money. Health. Identity. All of it. Gone faster than you know.
And I built platforms to teach people how to escape. How to build parallel systems outside their control. How to live free while the cage closes around everyone still waiting for permission.
I am no longer warning people. Those days are dead. From this point forward, my time belongs to those who want to reclaim their sovereignty and are willing to act. Trying to fix the existing system is a waste of your life. We build new ones. Or we submit. There is no third option.
Tomorrow we launch the first version of Oasara. 6PM ET. The Aaron Day Show. You do not have to be stuck with Big Pharma. You do not have to be looted by insurance companies that will abandon you the moment you actually need them. You can protect your assets. Cancel your insurance. Use medical tourism. Save 80 percent. Get better outcomes. They do not want you to know this exists.
But first, take care of your own health. Stop waiting for a doctor to save you from decades of neglect. Move your body. Eat real food. Sleep. Get sunlight. Stop poisoning yourself and expecting a pill to fix it. The medical system is not designed to make you healthy. It is designed to manage your sickness profitably until you die. Take responsibility. Your body is the vehicle for everything else. If you destroy it, nothing else matters.
You do not have to use the dollar. You do not have to use stablecoins that track, program, and censor your every transaction. You can use Freedom Dollar. You can use Zano. Money they cannot see. Money they cannot stop.
You do not have to hold Bitcoin on a transparent chain where every coin can be traced, seized through civil asset forfeiture, or make you a target for kidnapping and torture. Confidential Layer exists. Privacy is not a crime. It is how you survive.
By the end of January I will announce a degoogled phone. Multiple privacy solutions. Parallel systems built directly in. Your device. Not theirs.
AI is here whether you accept it or not. Just like crypto, there is a freedom path and a technocracy path. You can use AI to enhance your mind and expand your capabilities. Or you can let Big Tech use it to manage you like livestock. Or you can ignore it completely and wake up one day wondering why the world no longer makes sense.
People ask me what to invest in.
Invest in yourself. Find your purpose. If you hate your life, change it. Figure out what you actually want and build the skills to get there. Too many people spend decades in jobs they despise for insurance that will not protect them, grinding toward retirement accounts filled with IOUs from the same corporations building their digital prison.
Death is not the worst outcome. An unexamined life of quiet desperation is. Dying without ever having lived is.
This is the anthem. This is the beginning. Tom and Mary Johnson. A family that woke up at the kitchen table and said that's enough. They do not own anything according to the system. But they have nothing left to lose. And they are building another way.
Own nothing? Then build everything.
If you want to take back your life and build, follow me.
If not, may the odds be ever in your favor.

WE WON'T BOW
Tomorrow, Keonne Rodriguez checks into federal prison.
For three years I've warned about the war on crypto. Biden's EO 14067 unleashed a reign of terror on the industry.
My wife and I sat in horror during Ian Freeman's sentencing. Ian introduced thousands to Bitcoin starting in 2010. He promoted peace and voluntary exchange. His show Free Talk Live is why I moved to New Hampshire. He got 8 years. He's still in prison.
Six months later, Roger Ver was arrested in Spain and thrown into the same prison where John McAfee died under mysterious circumstances. Roger is the reason I got into crypto in 2012. He showed me Bitcoin wasn't just technology but a path to peace and freedom. He faced 109 years for manufactured retroactive tax charges.
Now Keonne begins 5 years. William Hill got 4. Roman Storm awaits sentencing. Their crime? Writing code. Building privacy tools. Exercising their First Amendment rights to protect our Fourth Amendment rights.
All five men sought legal counsel before doing what they did. They followed the rules. They got destroyed anyway.
These men shouldn't be in prison. They should be celebrated.
Trump promised us a Golden Age for crypto. Right now it's looking more like a Golden Cage.
He has the power to pardon these men and end the war on crypto for good. I'm calling on him to do it.
But if he won't, he needs to understand something:
We won't bow.
I wrote this before I knew the full Samourai story. Hopefully the next song will be celebrating all five pardons.

> Angela’s behind-the-scenes role in securing Ross Ulbricht’s presidential pardon.
> Escalating lawfare against open-source developers (Samourai, Tornado Cash, Bitcoin Fog, Ian Freeman) and why it threatens free speech and financial privacy.
> Why Bitcoin adoption across both political tribes is critical to protect financial freedom long-term.
> How individuals can meaningfully reclaim freedom through decentralized tech, local politics, and coordinated action — because 1% can change history.

In 2021 federal agents raided the host of our radio show, Ian Freeman, in Keene, New Hampshire.
They swept his studio and church, seized gear, froze accounts, and turned a community hub into a crime scene.
That morning began the case that now keeps a peaceful community member in a federal cell and will keep him behind bars for 6 more years unless we do something about it.
Ian spent years running a public-facing exchange in New Hampshire and a daily call-in show that preached peaceful living and voluntary exchange.
He helped the unbanked, the elderly locked out by “de-risking,” and anyone burned by paperwork walls move their money into digital cash. No violence. No stick-ups. Buyers brought dollars, received bitcoin, and walked out. That was the service.
The case was built on a theory that treats peer-to-peer exchange as crime when it escapes bank control. Old statutes were stretched over new rails, then the stretch was called fraud.
Customers who got exactly what they paid for were recast as “victims” because the trades avoided gatekeepers. The “harm” was hypothetical. The punishment is real. A community lost a builder. A family lost support. And a roadmap was written for prosecutors to use against anyone who keeps value flowing outside legacy rails.
You do not have to love crypto to see the danger here. When process drifts this far, it does not stop with one man. It lands on church treasurers who help parishioners wire money, on small remitters who serve immigrants, on local kiosks that keep cash alive when banks close accounts. It chills lawful exchange, it freezes innovation, and it tells every small operator to shut the door and leave people to the mercy of institutions that already failed them.
This is the moment to correct it. Say the quiet part out loud. Peaceful swapping of money between consenting adults is not a public menace. Treating it like one breeds more overreach, more fear, and less trust. Ian built something useful in daylight. He deserves to come home.
Help us make noise. Share his name. Share this post. Call your people.
We ask the White House for clemency. We ask the Department of Justice to revisit a case that punishes process rather than harm.
If liberty means anything, it means letting neighbors trade with each other without being caged for it.
