One relevant correction though: the proportion of patients in CHOICE with complete angiographic reperfusion at baseline was 42%, not 23%. There is no going back in the new paradigm released in CHOICE: capillaries matter for a successful reperfusion!!

Intra-arterial alteplase breaks microthrombi in capillars (CHOICE trial). It remains to treat the cause of thrombi formation and URIC ACID is ideal for that aim. there will be no rest until we get the funding for that study (URICOICTUS 2)
