@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech Benchmarks indicate PS5's performance is at ~1070 (no RTX). Hard to match exactly but 2060 seems fair with RTX, CPU was said to have an R5 3600X for comparable results. Together that's ~$600. + $100 1TB NVMe + $80 motherboard + $60 16 GB RAM +$50 Case +$50 PSU = $940 roughly
@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech I won't because I made no such claims
Maybe you got dat dementia again but people pointed out that you don't have to pay for online on PC and that you get free games and other benefits. Sony literally subsidizes the PS5 with your paid online money, that's how this shit works
@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech Nobody cares about your definition of "decent PC". For the sake of this argument the PC only needs to be as good as the PS5
Unless you want to claim the PS5 is not decent, in which case you might have to explain why anyone should buy it
@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech PC part picker automates its prices, there's no human being checking for the correctness, my PC on that list literally adds 500 bucks just for my $40 mouse. It's not trustworthy
You really do know nothing
@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech You said your games are free on PS5 when you pay for a subscription. Amazon Prime is a subscription that many people already have. If anything it's far more valid than your claim of free games with having to pay for online on PS5, you're really quite the hypocrite
@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech Moving the goalpost again? Now we're at some upfront barrier
Yeah you can actually pay in installments with zero interest with many online retailers including Amazon or PayPal so that's an option
@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech Why are you ignoring the question? I asked you why you're comparing the PS5 to a PC that is much better than the PS5 in terms of price. Why won't you answer?
You're coping so hard it's insane
@KebabsRLyf@nottheengineer@NagohNibor @K1NGxGlo @LinusTech Okay then, I can use this logic too
~6 free games from Epic per month, not always AAA, but you don't pay so that's a bonus, makes ~$50 per game so ~$3600/yr. Plus free games from Amazon ~$20 per game * ~5 games = ~$1200/yr. So PS5 doesn't balance out
But you can't accept it๐
