We are devastated to receive news tonight of the passing of Auriol Holt Roberts on Wednesday.

She had been a penpal to Talha throughout his eight years in prison and met him regularly after his release when she was in London.

She was a remarkably kind, caring and brave woman.

We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Bruce Kent. He was a man whose Christian faith compelled him to pursue peace and justice. He visited Talha in prison many times, and supported the campaign with protests, poetry readings and prayers.

He will be greatly missed.
