I think my least popular opinion is that free will is incoherent. It’s not just that we don’t have it, it’s that it’s a nonsensical idea. It couldn’t exist in any possible universe, anymore than 3 could be an even number. You don’t even feel like you have free will. It means nothing to say you feel like 3 is even. You’re just confused about language. If we totally deleted the concept from our minds, our thinking would be massively improved.
