A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.
🔴 A Russian missile strike killed a mother and her child in their home in Zaporizhzhia.
Emergency services recovered their bodies from the rubble following the attack on October 10.
Monday motivation, Ukrainian style: showing up anyway. Teaching anyway. Learning anyway. Even when the day includes hours underground waiting for an alert to end. That's the week ahead. #AngelsOfFreedom
This Monday, somewhere in Ukraine, a class is sitting in a shelter for the third hour. Still learning. Still trying. Children and teachers need not only safe, but comfortable places to work in. Help us build them. 👉 https://t.co/F7VkRuVtha #AngelsOfFreedom
Monday. Another week begins. Another week of alerts, of children spending hours in shelters in Ukrainian schools, of teachers adapting to hardships. We keep building safe and comfortable shelters so those hours feel less heavy. #AngelsOfFreedom
Doctors are now fighting to save the lives of people injured in the Russian strike on Kramatorsk. As of now, 30 people have been confirmed killed, and sadly, that number may rise. The Russian bomb effectively hit two city minibuses. Some of those killed have still not been identified because of the severity of their injuries. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another 18 people were injured in the strike. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged.
This strike will not go unanswered. Russia is trying to destroy all life in Donbas, and a response from the world is a must. A forceful response – exactly as the Russians deserve for all the deaths they have brought. May all those killed rest in peace.
Every donation, every volunteer hour, every partnership adds up to something concrete: a shelter at school or kindergarten where children can feel safe during air alerts. That's worth building toward. 👉 https://t.co/F7VkRuW16I 💛
A finished shelter photo looks simple — new floor, new doors, good lighting. But behind it: months of coordination, funding, construction, problem-solving. And your donations. Thank you for caring about Ukrainian children ❤️

Every shelter starts the same way: a visit, an assessment, a list of what needs to be done, and a search for contractors. Then it becomes something else — a space where children feel safe. 💙 #AngelsOfFreedom#Ukraine
Since last night, emergency services and repair crews have been working to address the aftermath of the Russian strike. It was a difficult attack – nearly 190 attack drones, as well as ballistic missiles. And the main target was energy infrastructure in the capital and the Kyiv region. Residential buildings were also damaged. Work is ongoing to restore electricity and water supplies everywhere they are currently unavailable. In the morning, a drone struck a grocery supermarket in Ivankovychi. First responders are extinguishing the fire. Kyiv is also under drone attack. A warehouse building was hit, and one person was killed. There were strikes on critical infrastructure in the Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Rivne regions. There was also damage in the Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Cherkasy regions. As of now, fourteen people have been injured across the country as a result of all these strikes. Tragically, five people have been killed, including a child. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Our defenders managed to shoot down some of the ballistic missiles. But unfortunately, there were also hits. In recent days, there have been new air defense support packages – I thank our partners for the missiles, and everyone who honors our agreements and strengthens the protection of our skies. This is exactly how we must continue to work. Every interceptor missile truly saves lives. And the closer we get to winter, the more of this protection we need. We must do everything to ensure that Russia’s bet on ballistic missile and drone terror does not pay off. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine.
🚨 URGENT: A school in Solomianskyi district, Kyiv was hit today by russian drone. Thankfully, children were in the shelter at the time. This is exactly why every school needs a working shelter. No exceptions. #russiaisaterroriststate
The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is one of our country’s central institutions of scientific research, bringing together generations of Ukrainian researchers. Today, its building in the heart of Kyiv was hit by a Russian strike. A rescue operation is ongoing.
Russia continues to strike civilian sites across Ukraine, damaging essential infrastructure.
Every Russian strike must receive a strong response and increased pressure on the aggressor.
We call on @UNESCO to stand with Ukraine's scientific community and strip Russia of its voice and voting rights within the organisation.
Last night, a Shahed drone struck the area of one of the schools we work with. Thankfully, no children or staff were harmed. Classes resume next week in the undamaged part of the building, while we are renovating this school's shelter. Please help us.

School day interrupted by drone debris near a school in Sviatoshynskyi district, Kyiv — mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed. No fire, no casualties reported, thankfully. Emergency services on site. But this is what school days look like now. Shelters have to be ready. Always.
Kalynonka kindergarten in Chernihiv: a former cellar is now a real shelter. Children play, read English books from Be Book, feel safe during alerts. The community started the work. We helped. Child Care Ukraine funded it. Now it's not a basement — it's where childhood continues.
A classroom in a shelter. Desks in a basement. War goes on. But so does learning. Children keep moving forward. That's what we're witnessing across Ukraine right now. That’s what we are building in every school and kindergarten with you and our volunteers.
The school year started. Sirens sound. Children move to the shelter. Teachers continue the lesson. That's how it works now. It's life. It’s your donations from all over the world helping us to build shelters in schools and kindergartens. It's Ukraine not giving up. 💙
