Look PETA, Ive been an endangered species biologist for the past ~20 years. Compassion is not the problem or the answer to issues that plague animals/plants, especially rare/endangered ones. It’s a misplaced fixation on issues that are rooted in emotion instead of science/conservation. Fixate on making a real difference in the world’s environment, not simply being against harvesting chickens or cows. More damage is done by impervious surface runoff, mismanagement of chemical runoff, point source pollution, straight pipe pollution, untested secondary or tertiary compounds leaked into the environment, synthetic estrogenic compounds leached from plastics, improper disposal of effluent treated with the broad spectrum biocide chlorine, or a multitude of other issues that plague our world. Cutting off the head of a chicken to make Sunday dinner isn’t the real issue. You all are absolute clowns, always have been. Get serious about the real issues and control your emotions. You make real conservationists look bad, but maybe thats why you exist in the first place: useful idiots.
