HUNDREDS of taxpayer-funded L.A. apartments meant for the homeless are sitting EMPTY, while costing taxpayers MILLIONS because of Mayor Karen Bass's "Master leasing" program pushed since late 2022.
70,000 people remain unhoused in L.A., costing taxpayers $3,400 per month, per unit. The vacant units alone are burning through $880,000 per month or over $10.6 million per year.
259 units vacant as of mid-May 2026, up from 226 in April, just over 1/3 of the entire program. Total program consists of 758 units across 14 master-leased buildings. Vacancy rate sits at 33%, nearly 4× higher than San Francisco's comparable long-term housing program of 9%.
SCOOP: Gina Marwick, a school counselor at Vacaville High School in CA, changed her profile to "8647," a symbol used to call for the ass*ssination of President Trump.
She also wants people who oppose Pride month to feel "uncomfortable"

Liberals: I can't believe Trump is wasting $300 million of taxpayer money on his ballroom.
Me: I can't believe Biden spent taxpayer money on all of this.

I can’t believe this is real…
California has a gay certification checklist to ensure taxpayer funded contracts only for lgbtq people, are being awarded to people who are gay enough
Extremely bizarre, not to mention highly illegal.

The city of Oakland, California only has a population of 440,000 but passed a $4 billion dollar budget for themselves over 2 years
For reference Phoenix, Arizona has 1.65 million people and their budget is $2.3 billion
But don’t worry they say they need the money for things like “more traffic cameras” and more homeless spending
I also found roughly 55% of Oaklands massive budget goes to salaries and Admin spending…. I think we found the problem
@JohnCornyn@POTUS Great, I’m sure @DAGToddBlanche won’t mind taking a look into your taxes as well… let’s put it all out there. Hell, let’s do ALL of Congress! I’m here for that!
Elon Musk: "In the next 6 to 12 months, we’ll be doing our first implants for vision, where even if somebody is completely blind, we can write directly to the visual cortex."
"Long term, you would have very high resolution and be able to see multispectral wavelengths... you could see in infrared, ultraviolet, radar. It's like a superpower situation."
When Elon Musk was asked to rate how important money is to him from 0 to 10, he said:
“Maybe a 2.”
“The reason I guess I have what’s called wealth or really just shares in the companies, is that I’ve created these companies. Tesla has about 140,000 direct employees worldwide, and probably five times that number in the broader ecosystem, maybe almost a million jobs when you look at the whole supply chain that Tesla has created. And then SpaceX has about 15,000 people, and perhaps around 50,000 people when you include the full supply chain.
So, with the help of many talented people, I built these companies. The so-called wealth statistics simply add up what my ownership stake in those companies is worth. But I don’t actually have that in cash. I have it in stock. It’s really just that the companies have succeeded.”
When Jimmy Carter purchased the teachers’ union’s endorsement in 1979 by establishing the Department of Education, the USA was #1 in education.
46 years and $4.1 trillion dollars later, the USA is #40. We are, however, #1 in cost per student.
