Oh my Lord! Through the Chosen One (the Prophet), fulfill our goals, and forgive us for what has passed, Oh Vast in Generosity!"

بركة حضرة الحبيب الاعظم ﷺ
Shaykh al-Islām al-Ḥāfiẓ Tāj al-Dīn al-Subkī states regarding the Beloved Prophet ﷺ under the Qurʾānic verse:
“The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than their own selves.”
[Sūrah al-Aḥzāb, verse 6]
“So, the Prophet ﷺ is more worthy of the believers than themselves. He ﷺ is not in need of permission from anyone. This is because the entire creation is, in reality, the property of Allāh ﷻ, and anyone who possesses anything does so only because Allāh ﷻ has allowed him or her to possess that thing.
And so we say: the entire creation is in the possession of Muḥammad ﷺ. He can do as he wishes with it. If it happens that his possession of something corresponds with someone else’s, then he ﷺ is more deserving of it, because his ownership is unrestricted, unlike others.”
[Ṭabaqāt al-Shāfiʿiyyah al-Kubrā, vol. 9, p. 205.
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Ḥajar al-Haytamī states:
“(Concerning his noble life in his honored grave) he (the Prophet ﷺ) is aware of your visit, despite the differences in the visitors’ ranks (darajāt), conditions (aḥwāl), hearts (qulūb), and deeds (aʿmāl); that he conveys their words to Allah exactly as they are; that he is the vicegerent (khalīfah) of Allāh, in whose hand and under whose will Allāh has placed the treasuries of His generosity and the mines of His blessings. He gives from them to whom He wills and withholds from whom He wills. It is absolutely impossible to reach the Exalted Presence except through his path, and whoever seeks for himself a station equal to his, even if he were a prophet, becomes the cause of his own deprivation and loss.”
